Having both spent the greater parts of their careers behind the curtain in professional theatre, as a Stage Director and Musical Director respectively, Victor and Kevin remain passionate about telling stories in which audiences are drawn into the lives of multi-layered characters and journeying with them through sagas of love, heartbreak, joy and despair, and seeing those same stories reflected back onto the relevancy of our own lives.

Brought up at a time where the opportunity to make theatre was the natural outcome of having spent years of practical experience learning every aspect of the business through knowing every show – and having seen, if not worked, on nearly all of them – the team of Kazan & Purcell know what it takes to make new musicals work.

Kazan’s stylish and sophisticated writing is backed by Purcell’s consumate skills as an instrumentalist, songwriter, arranger and orchestrator to create melodies that stay with you long after you have left the theatre.
